Mayor Bowser’s Budget Engagement Forums & The Private Security Camera Incentive Program

Updates from Mayor’s Office (Ward 4 MOCRS)

February 17, 2016 | Volume 2, Issue 6
Dear Washingtonians,
This is your government. Your priorities are our priorities.
Starting next week, you have another opportunity to have a seat at the table. I am hosting three Budget Engagement Forums. At each forum, residents will have the opportunity to help my team make some tough choices. I will draw on the input from these forums to shape my priorities for the coming year, and to determine where to invest our resources in the next fiscal year budget.
Last year, we heard loud and clear that affordable housing needed to be at the top of our agenda. So we invested a historic $100 million in the Housing Production Trust Fund. Last year, the community told us to do better by homeless families by making investments that will allow us to close DC General. So we came up with a plan to do just that.
Will you help us chart our course for the future? Please sign up for one of the following forums:

With your help, we will continue to bring prosperity to every corner of our city. And we will continue to create pathways to the middle class for all District residents.
See you there,
Muriel Bowser
