Hypothermia Alert Status

This is an important message from the District of Columbia AlertDC system.

DHS reports the Hypothermia Alert will be deactivated at 7:00 am. According to NWS, the current temperature is 42 degrees with no wind chill. Today, A slight chance of rain before 7am, then a chance of rain after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 50. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Tonight, Rain likely, mainly before 1am. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 47. South wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Hypothermia season has begun. When the actual or forecasted temperature, including wind chill, is 32 degrees or below, the District issues a Hypothermia Alert.
