Hypothermia Alert Status

This is an important message from the District of Columbia AlertDC system.

DHS reports the Hypothermia Alert will remain on. According to National Weather Service, the current temperature is 38 degrees.
Today, Rain and sleet, becoming all rain after 1pm. High near 35. East wind around 6 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Tonight, A chance of rain before 3am, then a chance of rain and sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Hypothermia season has begun. When the actual or forecasted temperature, including wind chill, is 32 degrees or below, the District issues a Hypothermia Alert.
