The Department of Human Services (DHS) reports the Hypothermia Alert will remain on. According to National Weather Service (NWS), the current temperature is 36 degrees with a wind chill of 27 degrees. Today’s forecast is partly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Hypothermia season has begun. When the actual or forecasted temperature, including wind chill, is 32 degrees or below, the District issues a Hypothermia Alert.
