Stand up and tell Congress #HandsOffDC
Dear Residents,

Recently, the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, under the leadership of Rep. Jason Chaffetz, has proposed more meddling in our local affairs, even to the point of overturning laws enacted by actual elected representatives of the city. Worse, Rep. Chaffetz has even proposed making the District of Columbia part of the state of Maryland again, rather than recognizing the will of voters to become the 51st state.

It’s time for #HandsOffDC action. Call members of the House Committee that oversees D.C., talk with staff and ask them to tell their members to keep their hands off DC laws. Be respectful but firm. You can call committee member Rep. Justin Amash today at 202-225-3831. Tell Congressman Amash & Congress to keep their hands off DC laws.

Sincerely,
