Hello Tiffani,
Within hours of winning the 2016 General Election, I began planning the framework for my first term as your At-Large Councilmember. I put together a Transition Committee that included four subcommittees focused on my priority policy areas: education, affordable housing, workforce development, and returning citizens. Some members of the Transition Committee were subject-matter experts who have invested countless hours advocating for the city within the Council building. However, I also went beyond those who are politically involved to bring in some lesser-known stakeholders who could shake up these discussions with fresh ideas.
Together, along with my Council staff, we invested many hours developing this report. I could not be more grateful to my Transition Committee for their hard work as volunteers who are committed to our city.
The Transition Report lays out my legislative goals for my first term in office. This is the work that I am doing on your behalf. My goals are ambitious, but I welcome the challenge. I hope you will take a few moments to read the report, and advocate with me along the way.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

My Best,
Robert
