Brightwood Community Meeting, March 14 at 7pm

The Brightwood Community Association will meet next week Tuesday, March 14 from 7-9pm for its monthly meeting.

We have confirmed speakers to discuss:

Bus services on the 14th Street Corridor: A group of interested residents, business, ANCs and community associations along the 14th Street Corridor is advocating for a Limited Services for the 14th Street bus. Since 2011/2 when DDOT/WMATA recommended 59 bus service, the number of businesses in the 14th Street bus corridor has nearly doubled and the number of residents has shot up as well. About one-in-four new DC residents live in just this one bus corridor. And yet, most of the recommended improvement haven’t been funded. ANC reps will be on hand to discuss this issue and how the community can advocate for new/better transport services in our neighborhood.
