Manor Park Solar Co-op selects Sustainable Energy Systems to serve group
Washington – The Manor Park Solar Co-op has selected Sustainable Energy Systems to install solar panels for the 35-member group. Co-op members selected Sustainable Energy Systems through a competitive bidding process over five other firms.
DC SUN expands access to solar by educating District residents about the benefits of distributed solar energy, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening the District’s solar policies, as well as its community of solar supporters. The group has helped hundreds of District residents go solar.
Co-op members selected Sustainable Energy Systems because of their competitive pricing, top-notch equipment and their experience in the D.C. area.
The co-op is open to new members until June 2. District residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at http://www.dcsun.org/manorpark/#signup. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Solar Energy Systems will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, participants can save up to 20% off the cost of their system.
