|(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises motorists to expect lane closures at the Kennedy Street/Kansas Avenue and Missouri Avenue intersection from now through July 2017.
The closures are part of a traffic mitigation plan for the Kennedy Street Revitalization project.The work includes intersection realignment, new traffic signal installation, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk repair, and catch basin and new bus pad installation.
Intermittent lane closures will occur during daytime and off-peak hours on Missouri Avenue. Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers and protect workers and pedestrians.
